Hi, I just want to share, about more than one month ago I was told by my pastor's wife that my performance was decrease, she could feel it in spirit, she is a sensitive person. I admitted because I was to busy so I can't manage my time to have a good time for God. after that I had built up my relationship with God, but sometimes when I lead worship I still feel intimidated. Just want some of you to encourage me...thanks so much

Don't be intimidated. Remember who you are playing for. Worship is all about God, nothing else. If you have moved to a deeper relationship with Christ and are giving him your best nothing else matters. Keep looking up!!

I just read your post now. I want to say to you that God is all we live for therefore no matter how busy your schedule is, tell it to him that He should lead you by his spirit to reschedule your time (Knowing that he created all creaturess) so that you will have more time to worship Him.

Again as a praise leader, you don't wait till that day of minsitration but always rehearse everytime. You can deny yourself of some conveniences. The Bible states that iron sharpens iron, go on websites of so many inspired worship leaders and preachers, chat with them and list your prayer requests, I have done that and still doing it works cos we are all ambassadors of Christ. Read devotional and inspirational books.

I also want you to get a book where each day or every week you write all songs that you come across. Watch the kind of friends you keep, the kind of books you read, where you go. you can as well fast and have vigils b4 every minsitration. God will definitely speak to you when you consecrate yourself.

It is good to get feed back but also as minister of God you have to be careful the way to react to this. either positive or negative feedback, pls tell it to God but always pray to God to reveal to you His mind about your minsitration.
